More updates on the UN climate report, including some clarifications you should check out if you’re inclined to be a skeptic.
Since the only prerequisite for understanding this comic is supposed to be a little biology (and maybe some video games as well), I guess I should also explain that early anthropologists–most notably Frazer in “The Golden Bough”–made the claim that henotheistic religions (that is, religions that prefer one god for specific worship despite having a pantheon) were a precursor to monotheism. The particular favorite was, naturally, sun worship–hell, Jesus has Mithras’ birthday….
